Help us Land a Grant! Write a Poem!

The CTK Foundation Philanthropic Fund is offering Habitat for Humanity York County an opportunity to win a $10,000 "Heart & Soul" Grant.

If you have a way with words, we are looking for a 4-8 line poem that captures the "Heart & Soul" of Habitat for Humanity York County's Mission. The deadline is August 1, 2009 to enter our Poem in the contest!

CTK Foundation Philanthropic Fund* is committed to the recognition and celebration of nonprofit service and seeks to promote the use of technology in addressing the root causes of societal issues.

The CTK Foundation was founded by Community TechKnowledge, Inc., an Austin-based technology company that exclusively provides software and services to over 6,000 nonprofits in the U.S. and the UK.

The CTK Foundation has also partnered with Massachusetts-based musical instrument maker First Act, who is donating 3 full-sized steel string acoustic guitars (and signed by Los Lonely Boys) for the Heart and Soul Grant Award runner-up winners.

Poem Submissions should be 4-8 lines and express the "Heart and Soul" of our Habitat for Humanity York County Mission. If selected, the poem will become the basis of a song, written and produced by Los Lonely Boys and presented, along with a video of the performance of the song, for non-commercial, community education and awareness.
