Purpose: The Covenant Church and Volunteer Committee (CCVC) shall recruit and maintain volunteers for all aspects of HfHYC’s mission from both Covenant Churches and the interested public at large. The CCVC shall expand the number of volunteers and covenant churches dedicated to supporting HfHYC’s core missions and recruit a sufficient number of volunteers from a variety of backgrounds and interests to fill the many varied roles necessary.
Structure: A Board Member who is also a member of the Executive Committee shall chair the CCVC. The committee shall consist of the committee chair and 3-5 volunteers.

| Key Tasks/Responsibilities |
- Recruitment: Recruit, retain and communicate with covenant churches. Recruit construction, committee and office volunteers from individuals,interested groups, corporations, and covenant churches. Recruit project team members via community meetings, etc. Recruit any other volunteers necessary for all aspects of HfHYC’s mission.
- Communication: Communicate with committees to ensure interested volunteers are matched with the appropriate committee. Communicate with the Resource Development Committee to ensure new interested persons are added to the mailing list. Communicate with the building committee to ensure work groups, covenant church work days and individual volunteers are appropriately scheduled to support a specific build.
- Maintenance of Records: Maintain volunteer records, volunteer mailing lists and e-mail distribution lists. Maintain and develop volunteer forms.
- Volunteer Coordinators: Manage project team volunteer coordinators.
