Meet the Tracy Family

Mark, Mary, Mark, Jr., Michael, and Mannix are currently residents of Biddeford where the two older boys attend Biddeford Primary School. Mark has been a machinist at Flotation Technologies for over six years while Mary has been a stay-at-home mom who serves as Secretary of the Parent/Teacher Organization.

Mark, Jr. and Michael both enjoy playing soccer. Mark, Jr. is seven years old and in first grade while Michael is five years old and started kindergarten this fall. Mannix joined the family this fall after the groundbreaking for their new home.

The Tracys first heard about Habitat for Humanity when a friend showed them an article in the newspaper and encouraged them to apply. Receiving a call from David McGonigle that they had been selected as a partner family relieved a lot of stress for them.

“Getting this house is a dream come true,” Mary Tracy wrote. “This house answered our prayers. No one will ever know the gratitude and the feeling of accomplishment that we feel and it is all because of Habitat for Humanity and forever we will be thankful to you.”
