VOLUNTEERING TAKES
MANY FORMS
There are many ways in which you can help Habitat for Humanity York County. You can serve in the conventional building role or you can offer your assistance with committee assignments or on the Board of Directors.
Committees meet as needed and report to the Board of Directors once a month at the regular meeting. Generally, the meetings are held on the fourth Wednesday at 6:30 pm. Meetings are open to the public. We are currently looking for a new "permanent" location for our meetings so please check the home page each month until a location is chosen.

What to Bring?
Yourself, a smile, a good attitude, the ability to follow instructions, and a desire to help a family achieve the goal of homeownership are all that is needed to volunteer at a Habitat build.
If you have hand tools such as hammers, please bring them. However, if you don't have your own tools, don't worry, we try to have extra tools on site.

VOLUNTEER INFORMATION FORM
In order to be properly covered by our insurance policy, volunteers must sign in each day at the worksite. You also must complete a volunteer information form for our records. You may send this form in advance so we know when to contact you regarding special skills you possess or you may bring it with you on the day you volunteer.
