Towns throughout York County have an affordable housing shortage. Habitat is working to build two durable, energy-efficient affordable homes in York County and Habitat’s weatherization program, Keep York County Warm!, works to help improve existing housing and living conditions for 40 low-income homeowners.

If you are interested in helping sponsor the event or would like to donate a raffle or silent auction item, please email or call Amy or Sharon at 207-985-4850.

We are looking for local artists and crafts-persons to repurpose, upcycle, or otherwise be as creative as you please with ReStore merchandise, which will then be placed in a silent auction in the Framing the Future Event. ReStore items can be obtained at no cost to the participating artist, and we are excited to share your work with a wider market. We will include display space for business cards and an artist bio with your piece in the silent auction.

If you are an artist would prefer to contribute a piece of art instead of repurposing a ReStore piece, we would be grateful for your donation and would be excited to share your biography and business cards with your art as well. For more information about donating a piece of art or repurposing an item from the ReStore, please email or call Amy or Sharon at 207-985-4850.

We hope we can count on you to help us make Framing the Future an annual event. All of us at Habitat for Humanity York County hope to see you at Framing the Future, June 13th, at the Nonantum Resort, 95 Ocean Avenue, Kennebunkport.
