Join our ReStore staff for a morning or afternoon of helping customers, assisting our drivers as they pick up donations, working with our salvage team, or organizing the ReStore sales floor. No experience is necessary, just a willingness to work and be part of Habitat’s affordable housing mission. Your efforts help Habitat make a difference in the lives of more families in York County!
We have an ongoing need for volunteers from Wednesday through Saturday, in the ReStore.
- Prepare, price, stock and display donated materials
- Assist customers in loading and unloading purchases and donations
- Work with sales and pickup team as needed
- Morning shift 8:30 am to 1:00 pm or afternoons 12:30 pm to 5:00 pm
- Greet customers and answer phones
- Respond to customer questions and provide assistance
- Operate cash register
- Morning shift 8:30am to 1:00pm or afternoons 12:30pm to 5:00pm
- Collect donations throughout York County
- Quality control responsibility
- Load, secure, transport, and unload donations
- Shifts vary depending on load & destination (typically 8:30 am to 1:00 pm)
- Salvage reusable materials (sinks, cabinets, doors, etc. from homes slated for demolition)
- Load and unload truck
- Work with sales and pickup team as needed
- Full day commitment (8:30 am to 4:00 pm)
