Our weatherization program provides weatherization services and aging in place measures at no-cost to qualified low-income homeowners in York County. The program focuses on minimally disruptive low cost but high impact improvements to homes.

Why Weatherize?

On average low- income families spend 30% of their income on energy costs, often times making the costs of upgrades and repairs out of reach. Weatherization upgrades help to lower energy costs by creating a more energy efficient home. The combination of weatherization and aging in place repairs allows seniors to age safely in their homes and improves the comfort and safety of all residents.

Do You Qualify?

Qualified homeowners can receive customized interior storm window inserts for drafty windows in their home. Storm Window Inserts are a removable and can be used each winter. Volunteers will take measurements and install the windows in your home.
