DIRECTIONS to the ReStore

A ReStore takes donated new and used building materials and furniture and resells it to the public. This not only helps York County families save money, but it also keeps materials out of local landfills, since they are being recycled and put to good use. The purpose of a ReStore is to help families maintain their homes at a reasonable cost. We think you will agree with our motto to: REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE, RESTORE!
The proceeds from the ReStore will be used to build more houses in York County. Our mission is to build affordable homes for qualified, low-income families. These families are required to volunteer to build Habitat houses along with hundreds of community volunteers and to pay their own low-cost mortgage. We are proud to report that Habitat for Humanity York County has built 26 homes for low-income families in the last 26 years. |
 |
Habitat homes are built affordably with the help of generous donations of materials, whether used in the construction of homes or for Sale at the Habitat Restore. Habitat appreciates your interest in supporting the mission of decent shelter for all, and asks you to please review the guidelines for non-monetary or donations of materials.
